Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to support our continued focus on excellence and continuous improvement. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in driving quality across the production process and working closely with engineers, customers, and suppliers to ensure high standards are met and maintained.
As a Quality Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for nonconforming parts

Supporting customer-related quality concerns with effective communication and resolution
-
Analysing quality data to identify trends, using statistical tools
-
Delivering training to staff on quality procedures and standards
-
Maintaining quality records and reporting on metrics
-
Driving process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency
-
Leading and participating in internal and external audits
-
Collaborating with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality expectations
Skills & Experience:
To be successful as a Quality Engineer, you should have:

Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
-
A solid understanding of machining and welding processes
-
Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
-
Knowledge of quality and regulatory standards
-
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
-
Confidence in managing multiple quality projects
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills
-
Experience conducting audits (internal/external)
-
A full UK driving licence
