Theo James initially founded the business on our strong relationships with the North East Automotive supply chain. The business has since diversified into a variety of sectors within Manufacturing & Engineering But, still has a number of extremely strong relationships in the sector.

Accounting for over 15% of our entire client base, this is an industry we understand and one we are able to offer real value to.

The UK's aerospace sector is a world leader when it comes to innovation and new technologies, generating well-paid jobs and sustainable growth across the country. 

Providing over 120,000 highly skilled jobs, The sector is hugely important to the UK economy. 

We have a number of exclusive clients in this field servicing some of the biggest names in the industry, we understand the importance of identifying high quality candidates and ensuring complicity across the board!

The FMCG sector is the largest manufacturing market in the United Kingdom, accounting for 14% of all goods manufactured in the country. 

Worth approximately £110bn, the industry employs over 400,000 individuals employed by circa 7,000 companies.

The Food and drink sector is one of Theo James’ biggest sectors. Since founding in 2015 we have placed permanent staff with over 40 companies in this field.

We understand the importance quality and hygiene plays in the sector, alongside the changing processes and technology. From Maintenance Engineers right through to Managing Directors, we are highly experienced in this field.

The Electronics sector alone is worth around £20bn for the UK economy each year, manufacturing a range of products.

Common items in the electronics and electrical sector include mobile devices, televisions, and circuit boards.

Theo James have a number of important clients in this sector. In the height of the 2020 pandemic we worked with one company in particular who manufacturer an electronic product that was needed against the combat of Covid-19. Over a short space of time we recruited 40 skilled permanent members of staff.

The chemical and pharmaceutical sector employs around 650,000 people in the UK, both directly and indirectly. The combined industries add over £20bn of value to the UK economy every year.

The UK pharmaceutical sector value is actually forecasted to increase by 19.3% to £25bn, which equates to an annual growth of 3.6%.

Offshore and onshore wind is the biggest source of renewable energy in the UK

The UK has the largest offshore wind farm in the world, which is located off the coast of Yorkshire. However, there are big pans over the next few years to grow more along the North East coast.

Having seen success from initially a small number of clients in subsea and renewables, Theo James in early 2022 put together a specialist team of consultants to concentrate on maximising our exposure to this industry. We continue to make good ground in this exciting sector, as we see it as a key area of growth within Manufacturing & Engineering
