Working Hours:
Full-time, permanent position. Monday to Friday (on-site), with flexibility in working hours open for discussion.


Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to support our continued focus on excellence and continuous improvement. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in driving quality across the production process and working closely with engineers, customers, and suppliers to ensure high standards are met and maintained.

As a Quality Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for nonconforming parts

  • Supporting customer-related quality concerns with effective communication and resolution

  • Analysing quality data to identify trends, using statistical tools

  • Delivering training to staff on quality procedures and standards

  • Maintaining quality records and reporting on metrics

  • Driving process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency

  • Leading and participating in internal and external audits

  • Collaborating with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality expectations


Skills & Experience:
To be successful as a Quality Engineer, you should have:

  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

  • A solid understanding of machining and welding processes

  • Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation

  • Knowledge of quality and regulatory standards

  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office

  • Confidence in managing multiple quality projects

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Experience conducting audits (internal/external)

  • A full UK driving licence
