Job Description:
Are you an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Advisor ready to take your next step in a progressive business? We’re looking for a dedicated Health, Safety and Environment Advisor to support the effective implementation of HSE systems across operational sites.
Reporting to the Group HSEQ Manager, the Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry best practices, particularly within manufacturing and construction environments. You will be responsible for co-ordinating health, safety, and environmental systems, monitoring policies, updating procedures, and conducting inspections and audits.
Key duties include:

Providing HSE legislative advice and guidance

Managing HSE documentation (risk assessments, method statements, COSHH, etc.)

Supporting CDM responsibilities on construction sites

Delivering safety and environmental training to staff
-
Conducting regular site inspections and maintaining records
-
Preparing monthly and quarterly internal/external HSE reports

Maintaining your own CPD and supporting HSEQ projects as needed
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
-
Minimum 2 years' experience in a full-time HSE role within a manufacturing environment
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
-
NEBOSH General Certificate & Environmental qualifications
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Forms
Desirable:
-
Experience in construction HSE (NEBOSH Construction Certificate or SMSTS preferred)
-
Familiarity with ISO 45001 implementation and auditing
-
Background in the production of metal finished goods
