Monday to Friday, full-time (day shift pattern)
Job Description:
We are seeking a quality engineer to support the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions on site. As a quality engineer, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance quality systems, supporting both internal processes and external customer requirements.
Key responsibilities for the quality engineer include:

Maintaining the site calibration system to ensure all equipment remains compliant

Managing document control to ensure up-to-date customer data is used
-
Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for internal and external issues
-
Performing inspection tasks and completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
-
Generating and deploying visual performance metrics for quality
-
Supporting internal and customer audits to meet regulatory standards
-
Ensuring the Quality Management System remains compliant and current
-
Promoting a culture of continuous improvement in all quality-related activities
Skills & experience:
To be successful in this quality engineer role, you should bring:

Experience in manufacturing quality, ideally in aerospace, fabrication, or machining

Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques
-
Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 quality management systems
-
Understanding of root cause analysis tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, and 5-Why
-
Familiarity with quality tools like APQP, FMEA, SPC, and Control Plans
-
Internal auditing experience and strong project management capabilities
-
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis
