Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, full-time (day shift pattern)


Job Description:
We are seeking a quality engineer to support the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions on site. As a quality engineer, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance quality systems, supporting both internal processes and external customer requirements.

Key responsibilities for the quality engineer include:

  • Maintaining the site calibration system to ensure all equipment remains compliant

  • Managing document control to ensure up-to-date customer data is used

  • Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for internal and external issues

  • Performing inspection tasks and completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)

  • Generating and deploying visual performance metrics for quality

  • Supporting internal and customer audits to meet regulatory standards

  • Ensuring the Quality Management System remains compliant and current

  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement in all quality-related activities


Skills & experience:
To be successful in this quality engineer role, you should bring:

  • Experience in manufacturing quality, ideally in aerospace, fabrication, or machining

  • Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques

  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 quality management systems

  • Understanding of root cause analysis tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, and 5-Why

  • Familiarity with quality tools like APQP, FMEA, SPC, and Control Plans

  • Internal auditing experience and strong project management capabilities

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis
