Job Description:

As a Key Account Manager, you will take ownership of strategic sales activities for a major automotive customer. You’ll be at the heart of commercial negotiations, managing pricing strategy, monitoring market developments, and building long-lasting client relationships. The Key Account Manager is a vital bridge between the customer and internal teams including design, project management, and operations.

Responsibilities of the Key Account Manager include:

  • Developing and nurturing strong, long-term client relationships

  • Managing and updating pricing based on design, volume, and economic changes

  • Leading negotiations and contract discussions to ensure profitability

  • Gathering and analysing market intelligence to shape commercial decisions

  • Acting as the primary contact for customer interactions and support

  • Collaborating cross-functionally to align internal processes with customer needs

  • Reporting on sales performance and identifying areas for improvement

Skills & Experience:

To thrive in the Key Account Manager role, you’ll bring:

  • A degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a commercial or technical automotive role

  • A strong understanding of automotive interior components or similar products

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP systems

  • Willingness to travel when required
