Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Welder to join our expert fabrication team. As a Welder, you’ll be responsible for producing top-quality welded and fabricated components across a wide range of materials and industries. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals with a passion for engineering excellence and a strong eye for detail.
Your responsibilities as a Welder will include:
- Performing high-quality TIG and MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
- Working with various pipe sections, laser-cut plate, and machined components (ranging from 1mm to over 30mm thick).
- Following Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and company quality processes.
- Ensuring safety standards are upheld at all times.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings to deliver precise results.
Skills & Experience:
To be successful as a Welder, you’ll need:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Welding and proven industry experience.
- Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques across multiple materials.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings with precision.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Strong team-working and communication skills.
- Eligibility to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Applicants must complete a trade test as part of the process, including:
- TIG pipe butt weld (PA position)
- TIG fillet weld (PB position)
- MIG plate butt weld (PA position)
- MIG fillet weld (PB position)
