Shifts: Day Shift (early finish Friday) or Back Shift (four 10-hour shifts)

Job Description

As a Warehouse Operative , you will be a key part of the warehouse and logistics operation. Working within a supportive team, you’ll be responsible for the safe handling, movement, and storage of materials, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with health and safety standards.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate forklifts (FLT) to move, load, and unload materials.
  • Use overhead cranes to handle and transport heavy items when required.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for dispatch and internal use.
  • Load, transport, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Carry out visual and basic measurement quality checks.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and wear PPE correctly.
  • Complete routine equipment checks and maintain a clean, organised warehouse.
  • Accurately record stock movements and warehouse documentation.

This Warehouse Operative role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values teamwork, and has a strong safety-focused approach.

  Skills & Experience
  • Valid Forklift (FLT) Licence.
  • Experience operating overhead cranes (desirable).
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
  • Reliable, detail-focused, and a strong team player.
