Job Description
As a Warehouse Operative , you will be a key part of the warehouse and logistics operation. Working within a supportive team, you’ll be responsible for the safe handling, movement, and storage of materials, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (FLT) to move, load, and unload materials.
- Use overhead cranes to handle and transport heavy items when required.
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for dispatch and internal use.
- Load, transport, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Carry out visual and basic measurement quality checks.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and wear PPE correctly.
- Complete routine equipment checks and maintain a clean, organised warehouse.
- Accurately record stock movements and warehouse documentation.
This Warehouse Operative role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values teamwork, and has a strong safety-focused approach.
Skills & Experience- Valid Forklift (FLT) Licence.
- Experience operating overhead cranes (desirable).
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
- Reliable, detail-focused, and a strong team player.
