Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Skilled Production Operator to join a high-performing operations team based in Washington. As a Skilled Production Operator, you will play a key role in delivering operational excellence, ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality and safety standards.

The successful Skilled Production Operator will:

  • Maintain and continuously improve operational performance, quality standards, housekeeping, and health and safety.
  • Follow production schedules to ensure jobs are completed in the correct sequence and within required timelines.
  • Ensure all work produced meets strict quality standards before moving to the next process or final customer.
  • Operate and monitor machinery within a manufacturing environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training to broaden skills and support business needs.
  • Adhere to all company, site, and legal health and safety requirements.

This Skilled Production Operator position offers the chance to work with advanced production equipment in a structured and supportive environment.

 

Skills & Experience:

To be considered for the Skilled Production Operator role, you should have:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in Maths, English, and one Science subject.
  • Experience within a manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
  • Experience operating machinery such as print, embossing, die-cutting, or slitting equipment (advantageous).
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances and demanding quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
