Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add an experienced Shot Blast Operative to their manufacturing team.
Job Description:
As a Shot Blast Operative, you will play an important role within the manufacturing and paint preparation process, ensuring bodywork is prepared to a consistently high standard before painting.
Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing commercial vehicle bodywork ahead of the blasting and painting process.

Removing bodywork from the chassis or appropriately masking the chassis depending on the specification.

Shot blasting prepared bodywork to create the required finish ahead of painting.

Ensuring all preparation work is completed to a high-quality standard.

Maintaining shot blasting equipment and tools in good working condition.

Working closely with other members of the production team to achieve manufacturing deadlines.

Following all relevant health and safety procedures within the working environment.

Supporting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience:
The ideal Shot Blast Operative will have:

Previous shot blasting experience, ideally within a vehicle, commercial vehicle or similar manufacturing environment.

Experience within vehicle-related blasting or commercial painting would be advantageous.

A strong eye for detail and commitment to producing quality work.

The ability to work effectively as part of a manufacturing team.

A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

A willingness to learn and continuously improve.

A strong understanding of workplace health and safety.
