Job Title: Robot Welder

Salary:
£15.25 per hour (including shift allowance) + Overtime
Working Hours:
38.5 hours per week on a rotating two-shift pattern:

Early Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–2:30pm; Friday, 6:00am–12:30pm

Late Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:30pm–11:00pm; Friday, 12:30pm–7:00pm
The successful candidate will initially start on day shift for induction and training before transitioning onto the two-shift rotation.

Job Description
This Robot Welder position involves operating and monitoring robotic welding machinery to produce welded components across a variety of material thicknesses. You will be responsible for maintaining quality throughout the welding process and ensuring completed components meet the required specifications.

Operate and monitor robotic welding machinery.

Produce precise welds across various material thicknesses.

Remove weld spatter during machine cycle times.

Follow standard operating procedures and technical drawings.

Inspect finished components to ensure they meet specifications.

Use manual power tools as required during production.

Maintain a clean and organised working area.

Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.

Work effectively as part of the wider production team.
Skills & Experience

Previous experience operating robotic welding machinery.

Ability to interpret standard operating procedures.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Experience using manual power tools.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Good communication skills.

Reliable with a strong work ethic.

Basic manual welding skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
