Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Technician to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that products consistently meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The QA Technician will work closely with production, technical, and HACCP teams to monitor, analyse, and improve quality systems across manufacturing, packing, and warehousing operations.

As a QA Technician, you will conduct inspections, tests, and audits to maintain compliance with BRCGS Food Safety standards. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining raw material and finished goods specifications, managing non-compliance issues, and supporting investigations into customer complaints. Your role will also include assisting in internal and external audits, traceability exercises, and shelf-life trials, while ensuring all quality records and document control systems remain accurate and up to date.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a quality assurance or technical role within food manufacturing preferred

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on data effectively

  • Knowledge of HACCP principles and BRCGS Food Safety standards

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

  • Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams

  • Competent in Word and Excel

  • Experience carrying out internal audits to BRCGS standards

  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, including conflict resolution

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
