Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting customer, supplier, and internal quality activities across our entire manufacturing operation.
Your responsibilities as a Quality Engineer will include:
- Conducting comprehensive internal and external audits
- Supporting customer and supplier PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) activities
- Leading 8D investigations and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement
- Managing and resolving customer quality concerns promptly and professionally
- Supporting quality planning initiatives and continuous improvement projects
- Producing detailed KPI reports and performance analysis for stakeholders
- Supporting inspection, testing, and validation activities
- Working collaboratively with production teams to enhance quality performance
- Driving improvements across processes, systems, and organisational standards
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate for this Quality Engineer position will possess:
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ISO9001 standards, ideally with IATF16949 certification
- Working experience with PPAP, FMEA, and 8D methodologies
- Excellent customer-facing communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding problem-solving ability and analytical mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Positive, proactive, and hands-on approach to work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality excellence
