Job Description:

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and compliance of complex aerospace and high-performance products throughout their lifecycle. You will collaborate with design, engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to uphold world-class standards and ensure products meet rigorous industry and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance systems aligned with ISO 9001:2015, AS9100 and related industry standards.

  • Lead verification and validation activities to ensure products meet functional, performance and safety requirements.

  • Identify, analyse and resolve quality issues, including defects, non-conformances and process deviations.

  • Work closely with engineering, design and production teams to embed quality considerations throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Document all tests, analysis, investigations and corrective actions accurately and effectively.

  • Support compliance with aerospace, space and high-reliability regulatory standards.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement programmes to enhance product reliability and operational performance.

This position requires strong technical understanding and attention to detail, as the Quality Engineer will work on high-reliability systems where safety and performance are critical.


Skills & Experience:

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering or similar discipline.

  • Proven experience in a quality, product assurance or compliance role, ideally within aerospace, defence, space or high-reliability engineering sectors.

  • Strong understanding of quality control processes, testing methodologies and verification techniques.

  • Proficiency with statistical analysis tools, data evaluation and quality management systems.

  • Knowledge of advanced manufacturing processes, materials and engineering principles.

  • Excellent communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and influence quality outcomes.

  • Must be able to meet the requirements for UK Security Clearance.
