Demand Planner – Newcastle (£30,000)

A leading UK Distribution company, that turnover half a billion per year, are looking to recruit Demand Planner into their Newcastle site.

Job Description of a Demand Planner

  • Help to fully integrate the companies MRP system
  • New product set up
  • Reporting forecasts and purchase orders to suppliers showing accuracy and integrity
  • Building supplier relationships to negotiate best price and quality
  • Purchase order placement and expediting to meet stock and customer requirements
  • Data analysis
  • To maintain open and realistic communication s with Key Liaisons regarding purchasing, supply & demand.

 

 

Skills & experience of a Demand Planner

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong Excel skills
  • MRP systems experience
  • Effective supplier and stakeholder liaison
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
