Job Description of a Demand Planner
- Help to fully integrate the companies MRP system
- New product set up
- Reporting forecasts and purchase orders to suppliers showing accuracy and integrity
- Building supplier relationships to negotiate best price and quality
- Purchase order placement and expediting to meet stock and customer requirements
- Data analysis
- To maintain open and realistic communication s with Key Liaisons regarding purchasing, supply & demand.
Skills & experience of a Demand Planner
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong Excel skills
- MRP systems experience
- Effective supplier and stakeholder liaison
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
