Job Description of a Production Planner
- Responsible for issuing timely and accurate production plans/ schedules for the Manufacturing Operation.
- Provide a key interface between the Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams.
- Help ensure successful delivery of new product introduction and contribute to the development and implementation of supply chain projects.
- Develop the companies MRP system.
- Put in new processes and procedures.
Skills & experience of a Production Planner
- Strong MRP systems experience
- A background in Manufacturing within a similar role
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail
- Initiative for effective decision making
