Working Hours:

Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week

Job Description:

As a Planning and Allocation Controller, you’ll support the Materials Manager by developing and coordinating production plans that meet customer requirements. You’ll liaise closely with production teams to ensure plans are executed in line with quality, quantity, and delivery expectations.

Using SAGE X3, the Planning and Allocation Controller will monitor material flows, react to changes in customer demand, and ensure accurate planning of finished ingots. You’ll also help resolve system issues, provide SAP/SAGE support, and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Other responsibilities of the Planning and Allocation Controller include creating costings for component work, tracking and updating orders, and ensuring timely communication between production and customer service. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are key, as you’ll prioritise objectives and make the best use of available resources.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in production planning, materials coordination, or supply chain management

  • Working knowledge of SAGE X3 (PLTP and Logistics modules preferred)

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work to deadlines

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
