Working Hours:
3-shift rotation (Early, Back & Night shifts) for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer role.

Job Description:
As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime across the site. Key responsibilities include:

Responding quickly to breakdowns and resolving faults efficiently

Following and improving preventative maintenance schedules

Completing planned maintenance (PPM) activities in line with annual plans

Recording and completing follow-up maintenance work

Supporting root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions

Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Assisting with engineering projects when required

Improving line efficiency, quality, and reducing waste through effective maintenance
Skills & Experience:
To succeed as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, you should have:

A recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)

Completed a four-year electrical apprenticeship

City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification
-
Experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment

Strong fault-finding skills on electrical and automated systems
-
Experience working with PLCs
-
A methodical and proactive approach to problem solving
