The Company:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a successful and expanding manufacturer, specialising within the chemical industry. This leading organisation is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer
with strong manufacturing experience to join their team.
Working Hours: Day Shift, Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm.
Job Description:
The Multi Skilled Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and systems within a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will need to be time-served, ideally with experience in heavy industry or chemical environments, and confident working under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repairing low voltage (24v) motors and machines
- Working with rotating machinery
- Strong fault finding abilities, both electrically and mechanically
- PLC exposure (desired but not essential)
- Ensuring all control systems are updated
- To support the team with breakdowns and PM schedules on site
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an engineering role
- Strong manufacturing background
- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent within maintenance apprenticeship
- 16th, 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations (desired)
- Experience within the chemical or heavy industry preferred
- Electrically biased background preferred
