Job Description
This is a multi-skilled maintenance role with a strong electrical focus. You will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of manufacturing equipment and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain production lines, including automated assembly machines, palletisers, and specialised assembly cells
- Respond to breakdowns, carry out fault finding, and perform timely repairs on PLCs, electric drives, robotics, pneumatics, and screwdrivers
- Undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities on machinery and plant
- Report on breakdown causes and recommend countermeasures
- Support commissioning and installation projects across assembly and moulding factories
- Contribute to in-house manufacturing projects
- Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and health & safety rules
Skills & Experience
- Strong electrical bias with proven technical competencies
- Completed a recognised multi-skilled apprenticeship
- ONC (or equivalent) in an engineering-related discipline
- Knowledge of Siemens PLCs and Fanuc Robotics (training will be provided where necessary)
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
