Job Description

This is a multi-skilled maintenance role with a strong electrical focus. You will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of manufacturing equipment and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain production lines, including automated assembly machines, palletisers, and specialised assembly cells
  • Respond to breakdowns, carry out fault finding, and perform timely repairs on PLCs, electric drives, robotics, pneumatics, and screwdrivers
  • Undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities on machinery and plant
  • Report on breakdown causes and recommend countermeasures
  • Support commissioning and installation projects across assembly and moulding factories
  • Contribute to in-house manufacturing projects
  • Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and health & safety rules

 

Skills & Experience

  • Strong electrical bias with proven technical competencies
  • Completed a recognised multi-skilled apprenticeship
  • ONC (or equivalent) in an engineering-related discipline
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLCs and Fanuc Robotics (training will be provided where necessary)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
