Job Description:
As Manufacturing Supervisor, you will lead a team of skilled technicians responsible for the assembly, repair, and testing of precision-engineered products.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring output meets quality standards, deadlines, and customer expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team to drive high performance
- Managing daily production activities in line with schedules and KPIs
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and HSE regulations
- Allocating work effectively to meet production targets and deadlines
- Supporting hands-on assembly, testing, and fault-finding when required
- Monitoring performance metrics and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Working cross-functionally to improve processes and operational efficiency
- Maintaining accurate production data and reporting
- Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within manufacturing
- Hands-on background in assembly, testing, or repair of electronic/mechanical products
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage a fast-paced production environment
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and HSE
Skills Required
- Engineering or manufacturing qualification (HNC or above)
- Experience in assembly/ electronics
- Experience in Manufacturing leadership
- Knowledge of Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems
