Location: Stokesley

Salary: £35,000–£37,000

Job Description:

As Manufacturing Supervisor, you will lead a team of skilled technicians responsible for the assembly, repair, and testing of precision-engineered products.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring output meets quality standards, deadlines, and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team to drive high performance
  • Managing daily production activities in line with schedules and KPIs
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and HSE regulations
  • Allocating work effectively to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Supporting hands-on assembly, testing, and fault-finding when required
  • Monitoring performance metrics and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working cross-functionally to improve processes and operational efficiency
  • Maintaining accurate production data and reporting
  • Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within manufacturing
  • Hands-on background in assembly, testing, or repair of electronic/mechanical products
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage a fast-paced production environment
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and HSE

Skills Required

  • Engineering or manufacturing qualification (HNC or above)
  • Experience in assembly/ electronics 
  • Experience in Manufacturing leadership
  • Knowledge of Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Experience with ERP or MRP systems
