Working Hours:
Full-time
Shifts available (Days or Nights – non-rotating)
Overtime available as required
Day shift:
Monday – Thursday: 08.00 – 16.30
Friday: 08.00 – 13.00
Totaling 37 paid hours.
30 minute unpaid lunch break Monday – Thursday, no lunch break on Friday.
Day shift are expected to achieve a minimum of 11 hours overtime per week.
Overtime is paid at T+1/3. - Sunday’s T+1/2.

Job Description:
We are recruiting for a Manual Turner/Vertical Borer to join a busy and well-established engineering team. The Manual Turner/Vertical Borer will be responsible for setting and operating manual turning/vertical boring machines to produce high-quality components.
Working from customer-issued drawings and specifications, you will manufacture medium to heavy workpieces to required tolerances. The Manual Turner/Vertical Borer will be expected to work independently and maintain a high standard of workmanship at all times.
The role also requires the Manual Vertical Turner/Vertical Borer to carry out self-inspection to ensure all finished parts meet quality standards.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience working as a Manual Turner/Vertical Borer or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience producing medium to heavy workpieces
- Ability to self-inspect work to a high standard
- Willingness to work overtime when required
