Job Description:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will manage and develop the maintenance function in collaboration with the wider management team, ensuring world-class performance across all plant and equipment. You will work closely with production to deliver high asset availability through robust planned maintenance and continuous improvement. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for driving safe systems of work, ensuring compliance with all HSE legislation, and working alongside the HSE function to maintain the highest safety standards. You will support control of the maintenance budget, including plant, equipment, and overtime, while ensuring resources are deployed efficiently. A key focus of the Maintenance Supervisor role is developing and maintaining effective planned maintenance schedules, minimising downtime, and reducing reactive maintenance. You will support and lead equipment projects, including new installations and upgrades, contributing to capital investment and improvement initiatives. You will also lead, mentor, and develop a multi-skilled maintenance team, with a strong emphasis on succession planning, capability development, and maintaining high engineering standards across the department.

Skills & Experience:
• Experience in a similar role within heavy industry
• Completed a full apprenticeship with hands-on maintenance experience
• Qualification in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Strong understanding of preventative and planned maintenance
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
• Knowledge of industry standards and HSE legislation
• Proven ability to lead and motivate engineering teams
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
