Working Hours:

Monday – Friday: 8am-4:30pm

 

Job Description:

Reporting into the senior engineering leadership team, you will play a key role within the Process Engineering and Maintenance department, ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and supporting production performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the preventative maintenance programme
  • Carrying out mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance on complex manufacturing equipment
  • Maintaining factory services and infrastructure
  • Supporting production through auxiliary equipment repair and refurbishment
  • Assisting with maintenance and repair work on conventional, CNC, EDM, and laser-based machinery
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed to required schedules and procedures
  • Promoting health & safety and ensuring PPE compliance at all times
  • Identifying opportunities for process and method improvements
  • Reporting equipment, process, or material concerns to management
  • Completing all documentation in line with company procedures

 

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • Time-served engineer / technician within a relevant manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience working with complex automated or CNC-based machinery
  • Strong awareness of health & safety standards
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

  • BS7671 Electrical Installation & Testing
  • IPAF 3a / 3b
  • Working at Heights / Harness Training
  • IOSH Working Safely
