Job Description

As a Graduate Technical Engineer, you will provide technical and application support to the wider engineering and sales teams, ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for developing a solid technical understanding of the company’s products and solutions, assisting in preparing technical documentation, and working closely with colleagues to design appropriate solutions for a range of industries.

The role of Graduate Technical Engineer involves working with CAD drawings, preparing quotations, and undertaking underpinning engineering calculations. You will also contribute to project handovers by creating detailed documentation to support turnkey solutions.

A key aspect of the Graduate Technical Engineer position is liaising with internal teams, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and supporting the creation of proposals for industrial engineering solutions. You’ll also gain exposure to client enquiries and have opportunities to grow your customer-facing skills.

Occasional travel may be required, so the successful Graduate Technical Engineer will need to hold a valid driving licence.



Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or another relevant Technical discipline (other levels considered) 
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Computer literacy and experience with software such as AutoCAD or Visio
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude and willingness to take ownership
