Job Description:
The Fleet Manager will take full responsibility for a national fleet of ~70 LGVs plus company cars and EVs. This Fleet Manager role focuses on compliance, cost control, and operational efficiency. You’ll oversee vehicle lifecycle management, maintenance, procurement, and incident handling while ensuring all legal and FORS requirements are met.
As Fleet Manager, you’ll work closely with senior leadership to develop strategy, manage budgets, and introduce technology-driven improvements. The Fleet Manager will also lead a team, drive performance, and play a key role in transitioning to a more sustainable fleet. Strong stakeholder engagement and data-driven decision-making are critical to success in this Fleet Manager position.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or similar
- Strong knowledge of fleet compliance & FORS
- Leadership and team management experience
- Commercial awareness and cost control expertise
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- High IT proficiency (Excel, systems)
- Full UK Driving Licence
