Job Description:
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will join a specialist engineering team responsible for supporting a major manufacturing facility. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and repair activities on automated production equipment, ensuring machinery remains safe, reliable and operational.
Working within a fast-paced industrial environment, the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will support continuous improvement initiatives, preventative maintenance programmes and equipment reliability. This Electrical Maintenance Engineer role offers excellent long-term stability through a five-year customer contract, with future opportunities across additional engineering projects.
Skills & Experience:
- Time-served Electrical Apprentice
- HNC (or higher) preferred
- Strong electrical maintenance experience
- Background in automation or automated manufacturing
- Knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery and industrial drives
- Experience fault finding on electrical systems
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Manufacturing, industrial or process industry experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
