Working Hours:
12-hour continental shift pattern – rotating days and nights

Job Description:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a
Multi-Skilled Technician with an electrical bias to join a busy maintenance team. The role involves fault finding, repair, planned preventative maintenance, and overhaul of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. You will work independently and collaboratively to minimise downtime, improve plant performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The successful Multi-Skilled Technician will also support PLC fault finding, ideally with Siemens TIA Portal experience, although other PLC backgrounds will be considered.

Skills & Experience:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Maintenance Engineering
  • Time-served engineering background
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills using engineering drawings
  • PLC diagnostics experience
  • Preventative maintenance expertise
  • Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic fault diagnosis
  • HNC qualification desirable
  • IPAF / FLT / CompEx advantageous

This role would suit a hands-on Multi-Skilled Technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in solving technical problems.
