Location: West Yorkshire
Salary: £16 per hour

Working Hours: 7am – 3:30pm Monday – Thursday, 7am – 1pm Friday

Job Description:

The Setter / Operator will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components to engineering drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting and operating CNC milling machines
  • Ensuring components are produced to drawing tolerances and quality standards
  • Loading programs, setting tools, and making offsets
  • Performing basic inspection using measuring equipment
  • Working closely with production and engineering teams
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

 

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this Setter / Operator role, you should have:

  • Experience as a CNC Setter / Operator
  • Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience using standard inspection equipment
  • Knowledge of Heidenhain controls is advantageous
