Working Hours:

8:00am – 4:50pm Monday – Thursday
8:00am – 12:15pm Friday- (36.75 hours per week)

 

Job Description:

The Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC mill/turn machines to produce precision components to engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC mill/turn machines
  • Producing components to tight tolerances and quality requirements
  • Working from detailed engineering drawings
  • Machining small batch and one-off precision components

This Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator role offers varied work and the opportunity to support high-precision manufacturing within a professional engineering environment.

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator role, you should have:

  • Experience programming, setting, and operating CNC mill/turn machines
  • Strong CNC turning experience with live tooling
  • Experience with either Fanuc, Mazak, or Siemens controls
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings independently
  • Experience working in a high-precision machining environment
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Apprentice trained machinist (advantageous)
