Job Description:
The company is currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join its busy manufacturing team. This CNC role focuses on producing precision components using CNC milling and turning machines, ensuring all parts are manufactured accurately and to engineering specifications.
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up machines, selecting tooling, interpreting technical drawings and operating CNC equipment to a high standard. The role involves close collaboration with engineering and fabrication teams, working to tight deadlines while maintaining quality and safety standards. Experience with Fanuc controls is highly desirable, and this position offers excellent variety rather than repetitive batch work.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong hands-on experience with CNC milling and turning
- Proficiency in CNC programming, with the ability to edit and prove out programs at the machine
- Ideally experienced in Fanuc programming
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good understanding of tooling, materials and machining processes
- High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
