£21.90 per hour basic pay
Night shifts: £28.31 per hour, including a 29.25% shift allowance
Overtime: £32.85 per hour, paid at time and a half of basic pay

An established manufacturing and engineering business is seeking three temporary professionals, with the potential for two positions to become permanent. Permanent and fixed-term applications may also be considered.

Working Hours:

Job Description:
As a CMM Operator / Inspector, you will programme and operate coordinate measuring machines to ensure components meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Your responsibilities will include:

Programming and operating CMM machines using MCOSMOS software
-
Inspecting components against engineering drawings and specifications
-
Checking dimensional and geometric tolerances and surface finishes
-
Using micrometres, verniers, plug gauges, screw plugs and ring gauges
-
Working with colleagues to maintain product quality
-
Sharing your knowledge and helping train others
Skills & experience:
To succeed as a CMM Operator / Inspector, you will need:

Experience programming and operating CMM equipment
-
Experience using MCOSMOS software

A background in CNC machining or industrial engineering
-
An understanding of tolerances, geometric tolerances and surface finishes

Confidence using precision measuring equipment
-
A positive, practical approach and strong teamwork skills
-
Flexibility to work shifts and overtime

A willingness to support and train colleagues
