Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years Commercial experience within an oil & gas, marine, naval or similar industry
  • Strong negotiation skills as well as the ability to influence and negotiate including dealing with difficult situations
  • Ability to establish and develop relationships with both internal and external contacts
  • Ability to grow customer base with new and existing customers
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities under pressure.
  • Self motivated
  • Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements
  • Able to travel when required 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver budgeted order intake and gross margins
  • Maximise potential work from existing customer
  • Develop new customers and convert them from competition through on site meetings, networking events and other ways of communication
  • Support the preparation of sales quotations in line with the business policy, ensuring on time completion and accuracy 
  • Develop and improve customer relationships
  • Negotiate with the customers
  • Manage and resolve day to day issues with customers in a timely and effective manner
