Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years Commercial experience within an oil & gas, marine, naval or similar industry
- Strong negotiation skills as well as the ability to influence and negotiate including dealing with difficult situations
- Ability to establish and develop relationships with both internal and external contacts
- Ability to grow customer base with new and existing customers
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities under pressure.
- Self motivated
- Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements
- Able to travel when required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver budgeted order intake and gross margins
- Maximise potential work from existing customer
- Develop new customers and convert them from competition through on site meetings, networking events and other ways of communication
- Support the preparation of sales quotations in line with the business policy, ensuring on time completion and accuracy
- Develop and improve customer relationships
- Negotiate with the customers
- Manage and resolve day to day issues with customers in a timely and effective manner
