This site is one of the company’s flagship UK facilities, employing over 1,000 skilled professionals. You’ll be joining a forward-thinking team that values continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional growth.

Working Hours:

38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Core hours: 9:00am–3:00pm (Mon–Thurs) and 9:00am–1:00pm (Fri). Remaining hours can be worked flexibly between 6:30am and 7:00pm.

Job Description:

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring product and process quality standards are maintained and improved. You’ll be responsible for managing quality documentation, supporting audits, liaising with customers and suppliers, and resolving quality concerns. The Quality Engineer will also support new product introduction (NPI) projects, helping to implement control plans, PFMEAs, and gauge planning.

In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to train and manage Quality Technicians, provide leadership on problem-solving initiatives, and contribute directly to enhancing overall performance. The Quality Engineer will be expected to travel to customer and supplier sites as required, promoting strong working relationships and resolving issues effectively.

Skills & Experience:

  • HNC or above in Engineering/Manufacturing discipline

  • Experience as a Quality Engineer within an automotive Tier 1 supplier environment

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of OEM customer-specific standards and requirements

  • Skilled in QA core tools, fault diagnosis, and problem-solving techniques

  • Good understanding of metal forming and fabrication processes

  • Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable to change
