 Job Description:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be crucial in maintaining and repairing electrical installations and associated equipment across our site. The Maintenance Electrician will perform routine, planned, and reactive maintenance on various machine tools, plant equipment, and facilities. Key responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer include installation, fault-finding, and repairs of machine control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol), servo drives, motors, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The Maintenance Electrician will also interpret engineering drawings, support apprentices, and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies. Flexibility is required as the Maintenance Electrician will work across different site locations and shifts to meet operational needs.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Time-served Maintenance Engineer or equivalent qualifications 
  • IPAF licence
  • Practical, hands-on problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure independently or as part of a team
  • Full UK driving license
