Maintenance & Lift Engineer

Salary circa: Negotiable
Location: Seaham
Shifts: Day Shift (Monday to Friday)

The Company: 

The company are looking for two, Maintenance and Lift Engineers to join their company due to a huge contract win with a project, which is creating huge growth plans.
The company are long standing and a very stable company where you are able to ensure a long-standing career. They have excellent employee incentives in place as well as over time and opportunities for growth.


The Position of a Maintenance and Lift Engineer:

We are looking for a Lift Technician / Engineer who comes with a minimum of a time served apprenticeship. This role requires someone to have some exposure to the maintenance field, to have maintained equipment of lifts within their career.
A LEFA qualification would be desired for this role, but not necessary.


Skills & Requirements of a Maintenance and Lift Engineer:   

  • Lift Engineering / Maintenance Qualification (Time Served)
  • To have worked in some form of high demanding industry, to work well under pressure
  • Lifting equipment experience
  • Experience of maintaining lifting equipment as well as tooling
  • To work within a stand alone role and lead from the front
  • Forklift experience
  • H&S understanding of expectations and working within the industry
  • Quality checking of your own work
