As part of their ongoing growth strategy, they are now seeking a talented Forecast Analyst to join their commercial function.
Job Description:
As a Forecast Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate short- and long-term demand forecasts to support sales, supply chain, and customer service operations. You’ll lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to analyse data, generate forecasts, and ensure the availability of products aligns with customer requirements.
Key responsibilities of the Forecast Analyst include:

Building and challenging a rolling 12-month forecast at SKU and account level.

Monitoring and updating weekly forecasts, communicating changes clearly to stakeholders.

Analysing forecast accuracy and trends, driving continuous improvements.

Acting as the first point of contact for forecast-related queries.

Using customer EPOS, depot stock, and rate of sale data to refine forecasts.

Supporting promotional planning by anticipating stock build-up and run-down.

Providing reliable forecasts to help optimise inventory and service levels.
Skills & Experience:
To be successful in this Forecast Analyst role, you should have:

Significant experience in a forecasting or demand planning role within FMCG.

Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, macros) and experience with forecasting tools and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse large volumes of information quickly and accurately.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments.

A business or supply chain-related qualification is desirable.

A high level of initiative and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
