Responsibilities

  • Lead the engineering department, mentoring direct reports like the Maintenance and Facilities Managers.

  • Oversee CapEx projects from inception to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality and timeliness.

  • Collaborate across product management, design, and operations to align engineering efforts with strategic objectives.

  • Champion continuous improvement—deploying Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma, optimizing process flow and machine performance.

  • Manage budgets, timelines, resource allocation, contracts, FAT, and URLs.

  • Support successful rollouts of new products and packaging changes, ensuring seamless scale-up from pilot to full production.

  • Use operational data, KPIs, and Gemba walks to identify and execute optimization opportunities.

  • Enhance team capabilities through coaching, training, and comprehensive documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, quality, authenticity, and legal standards.

  • Collaborate with other group sites to share best practices and implement common improvements.

 

Skills and Requirements: 

Experience in Engineering Management and leading teams 

Experience in managing CAPEX Projects from planning to completion. 

Mentoring and coaching teams 

Strong Continuous Improvement knowledge and implementation experience.
