Working Hours:

You will be working on a three-shift rotational pattern averaging 38.5 hours per week:

  • Week 1:

    • Monday: 05:00 – 15:00

    • Tuesday to Friday: 07:00 – 15:00

  • Week 2:

    • Monday to Thursday: 23:00 – 07:00

    • Friday: 23:00 – 08:00

  • Week 3:

    • Monday to Friday: 15:00 – 23:00

Flexibility is key, with occasional weekend work and overtime expected.


Job Description:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

  • Perform fault-finding and diagnostics on equipment and control systems, including PLCs

  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance to ensure equipment uptime

  • Work on continuous improvement projects and root cause analysis (e.g., QC Story, Major Breakdown Reporting)

  • Participate in risk assessments and maintain high engineering standards

  • Support with shift cover for absence, shutdowns, and urgent projects


Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • Fully accredited apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

  • HNC or equivalent Level 3 qualification (Electrical/Mechatronics)

  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

  • Experience with control panels and PLCs (Omron and Siemens preferred, Allen Bradley acceptable)

  • Flexibility for rotating shifts, overtime, and weekend work

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Desirable:

  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to continuous improvement tools

  • Familiarity with QC Story and risk assessment procedures
