Salary Circa - £34,782.31PA
Shifts -  2 shift pattern (6:45am -3:03pm / 3pm – 11:18pm) Location: Sunderland

  • 26 days holiday, plus bank holidays (29 based upon length of service)

The Position:

We are looking for X6 Die Maintenance Engineers.
These positions require drive, enthusiasm and someone who is looking for a long-standing career. Within this role, you would be providing support to the press department of the team, repairing press tools within a busy environment.


Skills & Requirements of a Maintenance Engineer:  

  • Toolmaker Qualification / Time Served within a mechanical engineering qualification
  • To have worked in some form of high demanding manufacturing industry, ideally automotive
  • Experience of using various hand tools for grinding
  • Tig / Arg / Mig welding exposure
  • Operation of manual milling machines and lathes
  • Diagnose tooling problems at press callouts
  • Knowledge of tool / press setting, and operation is advantageous
