Company Overview

A world-class manufacturer of state-of-the-art compressed air and gas solutions are looking to recruit a new Development Engineer to enhance their existing team.

Working within a small engineering team to develop new and existing products. Involvement in product development projects from concept, through prototype testing and into manufacture, whilst working within the ISO9001 quality system. The role would involve a mix of workshop, production and office-based work.

Skills & Experience:

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering discipline or similar.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects.
• Experience working within a product R&D environment.
• Understanding of Pneumatic systems and associated equipment.
• Capable of producing technical reports.
• Experience in product validation and testing.
• Experience in data acquisition and skilled in interpretation of data.
• Hands on experience of building and testing prototype components and products.
  
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Engineering involvement on new products including hands on product testing.
• Development of test rigs.
• Continued support for sustaining engineering activities to support the overall growth of the business.
• Data acquisition and interpretation to assist in the development of new and existing products.
• Technical support for customers and suppliers as required.
• Produce technical reports.
