The Company:

 

The Setter/Operator's role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining FANUC CNC machines within a manufacturing setting. This professional is tasked with ensuring the safe and efficient production of top-notch products in line with company protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background, experience in FANUC machine operation, and the capability to diagnose and address fundamental machine problems.

 

Job Description:

 

  • Perform machine setup, including loading tools, fixtures, and programs as per work instructions.
  • Setting and Operating FANUC CNC machines to produce parts within specified tolerances and quality standards.
  • Monitor machine operations and adjust as required to maintain optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the machines to ensure proper functioning.

 

Required Experience and Skills:

 

  • An understating, interest and enthusiasm for manufacturing and engineering in practical terms
  • Solid understanding of CNC machine operations, tooling, and programming principles.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality control techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Innovative and proactive problem-solving
  • Willing to work overtime to support business needs as and when required
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to them.
