Job Description:

As a CNC Operator, you will play a vital role in the daily operation of BL MC Doosan Milling Machines (Fanuc controls), supporting production goals and maintaining top-quality standards. You'll be expected to work independently with minimal supervision, manage your own time effectively, and uphold safety and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC Milling Machines (Doosan / Fanuc) to manufacture components to specification.
  • Perform daily TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) of machines and work areas.
  • Conduct basic inspection of your own work to maintain consistent quality.
  • Work alongside the Team Leader to meet daily and weekly production targets.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Follow a set production schedule, aiming to meet or exceed target times.
  • Be flexible and available for reasonable overtime when required.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience as a CNC Operator, ideally working on fabricated components.
  • Strong understanding of CNC Milling using BL MC Doosan machines with Fanuc controls.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and use your own initiative.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality control.
  • A solid understanding of health and safety in an engineering environment.
  • Positive attitude and team-focused mindset, aligning with company values.
