Salary: Up to £29,000 depending on experience

Job Description:
We are seeking a Buyer to join the Supply Chain team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. As a Buyer, you will play a critical role in supporting operational continuity through accurate and efficient procurement of goods and services.

Responsibilities of the Buyer include:

  • Raising and expediting Purchase Order Requests (PORs)

  • Issuing Requests for Quotations (RFQs)

  • Managing invoice queries

  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to understand upcoming requirements

  • Providing guidance on procurement processes across sites


Skills & Experience:
Essential:

  • Proven experience in a similar Supply Chain or Buyer role

  • Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities

  • Skilled negotiator with proactive mindset

  • Confident using MRP/ERP systems

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices and market trends

  • Familiarity with contract and risk management
