The company:

A UK wide building product manufacturer with multiple sites. Welcoming applicants with en electrical bias from a manufacturing environment the role offers stability due to supplying to retailers across the UK!

The Role:

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer, with an Electrical background to fulfil a permanent position to report into the Maintenance Manager daily. This position would ideally have experience of working within a Manufacturing industry.

Skills & Requirements of a Maintenance Engineer:

• Level 3 NVQ Maintenance Qualification
• To have worked in some form of high demanding manufacturing industry
• Electrical breakdowns and fault finding
• PPM systems
• Excellent communications skills

Responsibilities:

• Competently carry out general maintenance, installations and repairs to equipment both planned and preventative.
• Help develop and complete PPM’s when required.
• Liaise with production teams and Line Manager over machine breakdowns to prioritise repairs.
• Support factory operatives in performing machine changes and settings.
• Ensure maximum up time and minimum downtime of all operations.
• Ensure knowledge of equipment and machinery within area of operation.
• Liaise with you Line Manager on a regular basis raising any key issues and major developments promptly.
