Salary Circa: £38,000K - £39,500K (depending upon experience)

Location: Morpeth
Shift Pattern: 2 and 3 Shift’s Available (37.5 hours)

The Position:

I am looking for a Multiskilled / Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer to fulfil a permanent position, who must have experience of working within a manufacturing industry.
This position is based within a fast-moving environment where you must be able to work well under pressure and deal with multiple challenges daily and use your own initiative. 


Skills & Requirements:  

• Time Served – Full Apprenticeship (Electrically)  
• HNC / ONC (desired but not essential)
• Exposure within a manufacturing industry
• Be able to think on your feet and work well under pressure.
• PPM Exposure
• To work upon Pneumatics within the factory
• Fault finding and diagnosis skills
• Mechanical requirements, such as conveyors, belts, pumps, drives and gearboxes

Responsibilities:

• To diagnose and work upon faults on machinery
• Planning and organise the PPM schedule  
• To understanding and read engineering drawings
• Work upon pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps and valves
• To bring ideas and be part of a working team
