A successful SME based in the Northeast, with over 70 years of experience in their niche. Part of a larger global business, this company are looking to expand their team in Washington with a Logistics Manager.

Job Description of a Logistics Manager

• Managing a small team within the Warehouse
• Responsible for managing the Warehouse Operations
• Manage the movement, distribution and storage of both finished goods and raw materials
• Participating in the company’s long-term strategy in terms of investment plans and budget assumptions
• Ensuring KPI’s are achieved
• Open to innovation and change management

Skills & experience of a Logistics Manager

• Experience in a similar Warehouse / Logistics Management role
• Having managed a small team of warehouse staff
• Proven experience of managing Warehousing operations
• Having implemented continuous improvement methods in previous roles
• SAP knowledge
• Ability to work with budgets and KPI’s
• An understanding of Supply Chain Management
