Main Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead repair and maintenance of assembly and press tooling equipment.
  • Lead planned maintenance activities and technical improvements.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment for maximum machine availability.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance to reduce breakdowns and improve reliability.
  • Lead geometry improvement activities with technical expertise.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and QMS requirements.
  • Support intervention processes and escalation procedures.
  • Comply with legal and safety regulations, including PUWER and lifting.
  • Support procurement and management of spare parts and tools.
  • Document RPO and MTTR data using electronic reporting.
  • Assist in developing Engineering apprentices.
  • Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in work areas.

Essential Requirements

  • Recognised apprenticeship in Die Maintenance or Tool Making
  • ONC or equivalent level qualification
  • Industrial manufacturing or automotive relevant engineering experience.
