Job Description
· Managing the Quality Control team
- Responsible for control of raw material checks
- Responsible for final product testing (organoleptic)
- Investigation of returned products.
- Management of customer complaints
- Raw material and packaging suppliers’ management (Suppliers questioners, Suppliers performance analysis, Supplies specifications)
- Final product specifications
- Management of training database
- Management of Shelf-Life projects
- Deputise in the absence of the Quality Assurance Manager
- Part of the HACCP team
- Support in the preparation and attending external audits, including BRCGS and Halal
- Support in internal training for Production Operatives and QA/QC technicians.
- Coordinating the Traceability system
- Developing, controlling, and updating procedures within the company
- Coordinating Quarantine system
- Organising the approval for the new supplier and keep up to date with required Certification and Questionnaire for the existing suppliers.
- R&D projects
Skills & experience
- Experience in managing teams within a food manufacturing environment.
- Experience relating to external audits (including BRCGS)
- Experience in HACCP
- Experience in being Customer and Supplier facing and handling investigations.
