Job Description:
The Production Planner will be responsible for planning and organizing production according to orders received, ensuring accuracy in production documentation and schedules. Key duties include scheduling production workstreams and shifts, reviewing capacity and resource availability, releasing work to the shop floor, generating production reports, coordinating with various departments, and managing stocktakes.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in high-volume manufacturing with a strong technical understanding of production processes
- Familiarity with Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) systems, such as Business Central and Navision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to report to senior management, meet deadlines, and make recommendations
